While seed oils are produced by the cold pressing method, there are different amounts of residue in the oil during production depending on the type of seed. The sedimentation of this sediment to the bottom of the tank where the oil is collected makes it difficult to recover the oil remaining in the sediment, and the fact that the residue is not distributed homogeneously in the oil also increases the cost of the filtration process. For these reasons, the most appropriate storage method is to store cold pressed oil by mixing it in a tank with a stirrer until the beginning of the filtration process.
